Guest Speaker
Tonight we heard from Dr Saxon Selvey, Chiropractor and PhD. Saxon's father was an Australian olympian and also a chiropractor so he grew up being adjusted from a young age. He completed a Bachelor of Science with first class honours for his dissertation, 'The Effects of Exercise on Immune Function' and then went on to complete a PhD in cancer genetics. He then completed a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and master of Chiropractic.
Saxon gave us a brief rundown on Chiropractics and how a good diagnosis can help with pain, posture, stretching and improved movement and how the best results can be seen with combined spinal manipulation, soft tissue and exercise prescription.
Dr Saxon offered members a generous discount for an initial consultation at his practice.
