Karen Perston said that there is a new committee of Chris and Jodie to look at a lunch function at a later stage to help the Corryong community move forward. There is also the possibility to having a lunch or function at the new hanger that Ivo has been working on.
Shaun Taylor said that the $10000.00 is yet to be invoiced, hopefully tomorrow, but the delay has been for a good reason. Elders has been given some donated funds for rural use for bushfires and intend to put some of that towards the invoice to free more of our own funds which can be spent/distributed as needed.

Fencing Teams are going through a transition to Blaze Aid who have apparently tapped into government funds. Some help might be required with catering.

One issue that is becoming more noticeable is that getting loads into affected areas is becoming more difficult/expensive as volunteers with trucks and time is drying up as people return to work but also because of costs adding up over time.

Jean Burke discussed the email that she has sent around about Mondays Fellowship dinner at Brady’s Hotel. With a change of venue we are hoping to attract a few more Rotarians to come and bring partners for dinner and some socialising.
Mike Burke discussed a new Regional Seniors Travel Card available from Service NSW. The card is pre-loaded with $250- that can be used for Trainlink services, taxis and fuel. The eligibility is to be on an Aged Pension with a Pension Card or a Commonwealth Seniors Health Card.
Mike also said that he has picked up and transported two pallets of medical supplies - big thanks to Russell for the use of the trailer.
Alison Redfern informed us that she attended Dookie Rebound Weekend. She ran into Mikayla’s Mother who informed us that she is settling in really well in Denmark. The sad news is that the Committee has decided to send Tiago home and he will leave by the end of the week.
Adam Demamiel from Boys to the Bush gave us a presentation about camps targeted at troubled boys between the ages of 9-18, many of whom are homeless. They are usually managed by caseworkers and some funding for the camps comes from government. The benefits of these camps have been tremendous and they are growing the program and looking for volunteers to assist the camps and programs. These boys had had some horrific life experiences and if they receive early intervention they can have better life outcomes. Please have a look at their website boystothebush.org.au or the facebook page.
