Rosalie Martin reported on the bus trip to Violet town market on 9 November. There were two coaches with 90 people and raised a massive $2,133.00 profit and an additional $549.00 from raffles. Rosalie said that she was grateful for the donated goods for raffles.
Mike Burke said that the Astor raffle is up to $9,500 with a 1 in 16 chance. $885.00 was taken on Friday night. There is a Rotary table booked for Friday night. We have been having a good regular turnout and invite all to join us for a meal, a drink and fellowship.
Karen Perston said that she hoped everyone got her email about the Step Out Against Violence BBQ on Saturday 23 November in QE2 Square. Thank you to everyone who has offered to assist and she will be in touch soon. Karen has also made contact with Headspace and is organising a time to present them with a cheque from the Club Foundation.
Christmas is coming up, and Karen will send out an email about the Xmas BBQ. Australia Day will also be upon us soon and Karen, will discuss preparations further at the Board meeting.
Food safety certificate- Karen will also discuss this with the Board tonight, but everyone might need to do an easy online training.
