Murray Trail

The Murray Trail development is a project undertaken in association with Parklands Albury Wodonga.
The aim of the project is to develop the stretch of Murray River between the Water Works at Albury and the dam wall to:
  1. Improve public access to the river for recreation
  2. Restore habitat for native fauna.
The project is run as a Vocatioanl Service project with members inviting work collegues to participate in working bees. The idea being to involve non-rotarians and Friends of Rotary in Club projects.

It is anticipated the project will involve two working bees per year gradually building to a walking &/or mountain bike track linking Albury and the Hume Weir along the river.
